Pari Dukovic is an award winning photographer working across the genres of portraiture, fashion and reportage. Informed by a fascination with old master painting and renaissance sculpture, his wide-ranging practice and informal documentary style encompasses both his art history background and rigorous technical training, resulting in colorful and atmospheric images that are distinct characteristics of his work.
Over the past decade, Dukovic’s editorial work has been published in major magazines in the United States and Europe. Most notably, he was the staff photographer of The New Yorker from 2012 to 2018, serving as its main photographer capturing visuals for the magazine’s influential profile features. Other editorial highlights include Dukovic being chosen to photograph all six covers of Time Magazine’s recent special Time 100 issue. In addition to The New Yorker and Time, Dukovic has shot for GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, New York, RollingStone, Vanity Fair, W Magazine, Wired, and WSJ Magazine. In Europe, his work has appeared in D - la Repubblica (Italy), M le magazine du Monde (France), Zeit Magazin (Germany), and Telegraph Magazine (U.K.).
On the advertising and commercial side, he has been commissioned for campaigns by clients such as TAG Heuer, Nike, Pepsi, Tiffany, W Hotels, and fashion labels, Chanel and Rag & Bone. In the entertainment field, he worked for FX Networks, Disney +, HBO, and Netflix. For Pose − the groundbreaking drama television series − Dukovic’s photography won a 2018 Clio Entertainment Gold Campaign of the year. His work has been collected by The Smithsonian. Dukovic was the photographer for the cover of Barack Obama's memoir, "A Promised Land" as well as the cover of NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson with the foreward by Michael Jordan. Dukovic has a book coming out in September 2023 published by Rizzoli focusing on his photographs of dance and fashion.

For Pose− the groundbreaking drama television series about New York City's African-American and Latino LGBTQ and gender-nonconforming ballroom culture scene in the 1980 − Dukovic’s photography won a 2018 Clio Entertainment Gold Campaign of the year award. Born in 1984 in Istanbul to Greek parents, Dukovic was raised in Istanbul and moved to the United States to attend Rochester Institute of Technology, where he received his B.F.A. in 2006.
